Stephen Rynhart is a Senior Program Manager in Microsoft’s Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) organisation, leading data centre development across the Netherlands. He drives Microsoft’s expansion strategy in one of Europe’s most important digital infrastructure markets, supporting the growth of the company’s AI and Commercial Cloud platforms. His work brings together site development, stakeholder engagement, infrastructure coordination, sustainability, and community partnerships to enable responsible, long-term growth.
With more than 30 years of experience delivering complex developments across a wide range of commercial and industrial sectors, including over 20 years in the Asia-Pacific region, Stephen has spent his career bringing ambitious projects to life in diverse and fast-evolving environments. Over the past eight years at Microsoft, he has focused on helping shape the future of digital infrastructure, working closely with government authorities, utilities, industry partners, and local communities to ensure growth is both sustainable and beneficial to the regions in which Microsoft invests.
