Christopher Johnson is the founder of Avanza Energy, an independent research and analysis publication covering data center power economics, grid constraints, and the commercial models reshaping how digital infrastructure gets built and financed. He also serves as CEO of PowerDrive Thermal, a company developing technology to convert generator waste heat into cooling at data center sites. CJ brings 20+ years building hardware and software companies.. He trained as a physicist, is a Watson Fellow, and is fluent in Spanish.
