Melissa Farney is an award-winning data center industry leader who has spent 20 years marketing digital technologies and is a self-professed data center nerd. She holds degrees in Marketing, Economics, and Psychology from the University of Central Florida. Her work focuses on high-impact areas including AI deployment, energy innovation, infrastructure investments, and emerging trends in power and sustainability. To this end, she has been a proud contributor to each volume of JSA’s Greener Data series.
Melissa currently serves as Marketing Director for TECfusions, a global data center operator serving AI and HPC tenants with innovative and sustainable solutions. She is also the Editor-at-Large for Data Center Frontier, offering insights into the most pressing developments shaping the digital infrastructure industry. Lastly, she is an Ambassador for the Nomad Futurist Academy, a nonprofit organization that is working to build a free data center educational platform for K-12 students. Prior to this, she has held senior data center marketing or editorial roles with DC BLOX, Kohler, ABB, and Mission Critical Magazine.
